Brief CV 

 

Vasiliki Eirinaki holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Roehampton University, London, funded by the Froebel Trust. Her doctoral research focused on the effects of postpartum depression on the mother-infant relationship and infant developmental skills. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from Panteion University in Athens and an MSc in Child and Adolescent Psychopathology from the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London.

She has worked as a psychologist in clinical settings in Athens and London and currently practices privately while collaborating with the Relate Clinic for Psychodynamic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. From 2014 to 2018, she lectured in the Psychology and Education Departments at Roehampton University. She has also taught undergraduate courses at the American College of Greece (Deree) and the Department of Social Work at the University of West Attica. Currently, she delivers lectures in postgraduate programs in Biomedical Sciences and Midwifery at the University of West Attica and supervises practical training and theses in a postgraduate program at the Hellenic Open University.

Since 2014, she has participated in various research projects in the UK, Greece, and the USA. From 2018 to 2022, she was an honorary researcher at the Mother & Baby Unit of Bethlem Royal Hospital in London. She has published articles in international scientific journals, co-authored book chapters, and presented at numerous international conferences. Dr. Eirinaki is a reviewer for the international journal Frontiers and a member of the Greek Society for Infant Mental Health (WAIMH).
